Ruth is an artist based in Sheffield, Yorkshire. Curious and concerned by the complex systems we live by, our relationship, disconnection and commodification of the natural world and the environmental and ecological crisis we are living through. She works with others to explore water & flooding, wheat and grain farming and policy making. The journey and investigation is a collective & collaborative one, which hopes to help unravel, reveal, critique the broken systems and explore, resurrect and experiment with new ones.

The work manifests as research-based participatory and socially engaged projects, mapping, walking and video, often combining some or all of them together. The making process is in responce to ongoing conversations and collaborative or collective research.
